Once again, the Alpine Insurance Alberta World Cup Academy will be hosting a fun community event to ring in the ski season:
Strides & Glides – a run/ski duathlon held at the Canmore Nordic Centre on Frozen Thunder for all skiers and runners – professionals, amateurs, and youth.
This year, we are teaming up with Strides and Canmore Nordic to host the event together, all proceeds will go to the Academy and Canmore Nordic.

6:00pm: Pros – All actively racing runners and skiers, young and old</em
(3km run – 3km ski, classic or skate)
6:15pm: Joes – All amateur runners and skiers, young and old
(3km run – 3km ski, classic or skate)
6:40pm: U16 (Youth) – everybody under 16 years of age
Want to team up? No problem.
Participate as a relay team, if you’re a runner, find a skier. If you’re a skier, find a runner.
If you want to participate as a team but don’t have a team member, sign up in the team category, and we will match you with someone.
