On July 5th the Alpine Insurance Alberta World Cup will be hosting the very first sanctioned rollerski race in Alberta! We’re still looking for a few more volunteers, mostly as marshals for the course, which will be run around the Bill Warren Training Centre. If you can’t volunteer, come out to the weekly pub night at the Bill Warren Training Centre and cheer on the racers from the balcony! Here’s the plan for the evening:* Parking lots will be closed at 3:30pm for track preparation (parking still available in the main lot by the Day Lodge)
* Race warm up starts at 5pm, the course closes at 5:45pm and qualifiers will start at approximately 6pm
* Quarterfinals will start around 6:20 and the event finals are slated for around 8pm
